Back off of Oprah, Bitches

I know that this blog is about soaps and it is, but it is about other stuff too, stuff that I care about like the issue of Oprah building a school for disadvantage girls in South Africa. I know that some people say that Oprah should be doing more for education here in America instead in another country. Others say that the school, which cost 40 million dollars to build and includes a hair salon, a yoga studio and a theatre is to extravagant for a poor country. I say, shut your mouth and just congratulate Oprah for doing something good for a country that is trying to rebuild itself after apartheid. I know that we have to fix our public school system, we have problems but in Africa, the children have nothing and when I say nothing I mean NOTHING. They don't know if they are going to eat today much less go to school which they have to pay to go. What Oprah is doing should be commended and should be an example for people to do more to help those who are less fortunate.

For the critics that say that it was too extravagant for a poor country, It's Oprah's money and she can do with it as she pleases. Oprah does a lot for America, hell she did more for the victims of Katrina than the government did, why more and I bet that she does for a lot of people but its not televise. Just back off of Oprah who is doing more to change the world for the better than anyone right now.
